A few thoughts on a few films up for tonight’s Oscars.

Past Lives is a gem of a film about relationships - both friends and lovers.

I like to go to the cinema although, quite often, I don’t like what I see in the cinema. And if I don’t like what I see then I start avoiding going to the cinema – which means I sometimes miss movies I later wish I’d seen. So, please excuse the gaps here, OK? Thanks!
